Basic Principles of Mental Functioning will take you thought the basics of the consistency model of mental functioning and the basic underpinnings of neuropsychotherapy.

This self-study activity consists of 1.5 hours of continuing education, or professional development, instruction. Credit requirements and approvals vary across countries, organizations and state board regulations. Please save the test results at the end of each unit, the certificate of completion you receive from the activity and contact your organization to determine specific filing requirements.

We are unable to guarantee the success of logging 1.5 CE/PD points for this course as the requirements vary significantly across countries, states, and organizations.

All self-study participants will have to have achieved 80% or better pass rate to receive a certificate of completion. If you require a copy of the test/evaluation for CE purposes, please print at the time you take the test – these are available as a download after you complete each test section.

Matthew Dahlitz is both university trained and an autodidactic who’s knowledge spans across the arts, technology, psychology, neuroscience, emergency medicine, and business. Matthew has studied music at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in both music technology and master of composition. He has also studied and had a career as an advanced care paramedic. In the world of mental health Matthew was trained at the University of Queensland in psychology with a masters in counselling. He is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of The Neuropsychotherapist, the founder of The International Journal of Neuropsychotherapy, the Secretary to the International Association of Clinical Neuropsychotherapy, as well as founder and editor of a number of other publications in the areas of technology. He also has a business consulting company where he applies the principles of neuropsychotherapy to the world of business and entrepreneurship.
