We are social creatures.  We seek interaction, and we communicate, working to understand each other in a myriad of ways.  We observe body language, we get a sense of a person’s energy, and we LISTEN to what is being said. Or do we?

Listening is vastly more than just audition, and it is the antithesis of statically attaining the same minds of others.  Deeply attending to what is being communicated holds enormous dynamic potential for both the speaker and the listener; via the voice, a thought becomes an action, allowing the possibility of a reaction via a response.  The listener is given the cherished role of learning, knowing, and experiencing the speaker, and the speaker can more fully allow each idea layer to unfold and blossom as it touches the air.  What has the ability to occur is an exploration of the space that exists around us, as well as within us…
